Adobe Creative Cloud is the complete creative collection of Adobe apps. While it could be compared to Adobe Master Collection CS6, it consists of far more than just apps. Creative Cloud includes both desktop apps and mobile apps, tutorials, Adobe assets, Adobe Stock, cloud storage space and access to Behance where you can build your portfolio and showcase it to the world.
When Adobe Creative Cloud first launched, there was a common misconception that the software was cloud-based and that one would have to be online to operate the apps. Adobe Creative Cloud does include cloud services, but the applications are downloaded and reside on one’s desktop or mobile device.
What is included in Adobe Creative Cloud?
Adobe Creative Cloud is a combination of applications, assets and software as a service. It includes the following:
» Desktop Apps
Adobe Premier Pro
» Mobile Apps
Adobe Comp CC
|Adobe Illustrator Draw
Adobe Experience Design
Photoshop Lightroom for Mobile
|Adobe Creative SDK
Adobe Preview CC
Photo Editor by Aviary
» Creative Cloud Tutorials
» Creative Cloud Libraries
» Adobe Stock
While a single person may only ever use a small fraction of what is listed above, Adobe Creative Cloud simplifies the licensing requirements for companies and educational institutions that would otherwise need to manage a list of various products within the Adobe range for their various departments.
It also affords individuals the opportunity to try out tools and applications that they could previously not afford to add to their software arsenal.
